Given the increased problems and costs associated with pesticides, no modern greenhouse should be installed without the proper insect barrier. Green-Tek’s Anti-Insect Screens, correctly installed, prevent insect penetration; yet provide maximum possible air flow, essential for optimal crop yields.
Screening intake vents will produce dramatic results, regardless of the cooling and ventilation system that you use. However, all openings in the greenhouse, including service doors designed to have double screened entries, should be screened as well.

Selection Guide
Green-Tek’s Anti-Insect Screens block the penetration of insects and are differentiated by hole size (mesh = number of holes per inch). The type of net (mesh size) is selected according to the insect that is prevalent in the area.
Mesh 17 Protection Net
For protection against fruit flies (Mediterranean fruit fly, fig fruit fly, olive fruit fly), grape moth, Prudenia and Pomegrate fruit butterfly in orchards and vineyards. This net provides protection against climatic conditions such as hail, wind, and solar radiation excess, thus optimizing yield and fruit quality.

OptiNet 40 and 50 Mesh Dual Protection from Insect Penetration
