MONEL WIRE MESH

The Monel metal is a combination of Nickel and Copper making it one of the most multipurpose and widely used nickel alloys. Monel comprises more than 60% of nickel content which offers intense resistance to a variety of corrosion conditions including seawater, acidic and alkaline environments.


Compared to the common Stainless Steel Wire Mesh, The Monel wire mesh has a high melting point of 1300 F to 1350 F and strength superior to unalloyed nickel. Due to this unique quality, it is being used inside high-temperature vessels and petroleum applications.

Monel 400 Wire Mesh

Monel wire mesh is used to manufacture screen baskets and strainers in various sizes for filtration in a corrosive environment. Besides, it is being used for producing customized Mesh strip gaskets, used to provide electromagnetic pulse shielding. The chemical composition of the Monel 400 metal is specified below.

Monel K 500 Woven Wire Mesh

This Monel wire mesh has a small percentage of Aluminium and Titanium added to it, which gives extra strength to the metal. It melts at a higher temperature of +2400 F and offers higher corrosion resistance than Monel 400. The chemical composition of Monel K500 is mentioned below:
