AIANO makes solid security grilles and window guards for all kinds of windows. Guards can be made from weld mesh, woven mesh or steel round bar, according to customer requirements.

AIANO has been making specialised window guards for churches and heritage buildings for more than 150 years.

AIANO makes security grills from mild steel or stainless steel and uses any mesh and frame size required, including 3″ x½”, 3 x 1″, or 1″ x 1″ x 12g weld mesh, (75 x 12mm, 75 x 25mm or 25 x 25mm x 2.64mm). Whatever the specification, AIANO window guards are built to the standard customers expect from AIANO products.

During an initial site survey, AIANO engineers will take accurate measurements and photographs of the windows to be guarded. We will also, where appropriate, take templates of the exact window shape where necessary and note in special features of the windows or the installation that need to be taken into consideration.

AIANO engineers can then make a second site visit to install your window guards and grills. We will always seek to use the most appropriate method of fixing for each project taking into account security, any constraints in the fabric of the building, and cosmetic or aesthetic considerations.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

AIANO wire mesh security grills are made at our wireworks in East London. The mesh and steel used in our products is produced in Europe.

Materials – Aiano makes security grills and window guards from 4″ x ½” x 13g woven mesh on ¼” rod frames. They can also be made from 3″ x ½” or 1″ x 1″ x 12g weld mesh, if required.

Finish – Aiano window guards are powder coated white for indoor use and are hot dip galvanized for outdoor use.

The mild steel guards are hot dip galvanized after manufacture. Hot dip galvanizing provides reliable, long-term protection from corrosion.The guards can be powder coated after manufacture in any colour required.
