Welded Wire Mesh Panel Weight Per Square Meter - Iron, Stainless Steel
Welded wire mesh weight per square meter (just square welded wire mesh) calculate:
For materials of iron, steel, or stainless steel,
Weight= wire dia (mm) 2 × mesh No. × roll width (m) × roll length (m)/2
Note:
- Wire diameter (must be in mm).
- Mesh number per inch.
- Roll/Piece width (must be in meter).
- Roll/Piece length (must be in meter).
Example 1:
Gal. welded wire mesh 1/2 inch × 1/2 inch × 0.711 mm × 3 Feet × 100 Feet
Weight = 0.7112 × 2 × 0.914 × 30.48 / 2 =14.1 kg
Example 2:
S.S. welded wire mesh 100 mesh × 100 mesh × 0.10 mm × 1 m × 30 m
Weight = 0.102 × 100 × 1 × 30 / 2 =15.0 kg.
That means the theory weight of S.S. mesh 100 mesh × 100 mesh × 0.1 mm per 1 m × 30 m roll is 15.0 kg.
Sometimes factory offered the weight to be 14.7 kg as the weight tolerance is around 2%.
