Item was not as described in listing. The fence was described as being 6' tall when it is only 5'4" tall. Reported this differece and no reply was recieved.
Look, I know this wire cost more than regular chicken wire, but it is worth every penny, Its so easy to install, its very rigid compared to regular chicken wire, you can stretch it very tight and it looks SO much better than chicken wire. I will always use this wire from now on, I already put this up on my 20x50 foot chicken pen, and went ahead and bought more in case I decide to build more. Do yourself a favor and buy this wire !!

We ordered the black vinyl coated fencing for a future project. When we opened the package last week we discovered we were charged for vinyl coated wire, BUT was shipped plain silver chicken wire fencing. Of course the window of return was past when we discovered what they did. Yes, we should have opened it sooner, but wanted to keep it from being damaged until it was time to install. Big mistake to wait.

If you are looking at keeping small animals IN, or larger animals OUT - this is the fence for you. I purchased the black coated and it is nearly invisible against the wooden fence. I like the height (6 ft) so you can allow some extra towards the bottom, staked down. (To keep the net from moving and my little dogs slipping out beneath). Highly recommend this fence, and the vinyl coating will prevent it from rusting.
We used this for our new chicken run and it was a cinch to build with. We loved it. The coated wire makes it hang together and not break apart when handled a lot. We were able to maneuver it almost like cloth to do the roof area (we have lots of hungry bald eagles in our skies), attaching the underside to the top of the wall and then using broomsticks to flip (yes, flip) the rest of the wire over and onto the roof! This material made a tough job a lot more pleasant to work with. The coated version is probably heavier than the other to work with while in a roll but so much kinder on our hands. We could even work without annoying gloves for much of it!
We installed 3 150" rolls of the coated Fencerwire. My son rigged a pole on a hitch on the front of his truck, so we were able to stand it up to unroll the wire quickly and easily. The coated wire is easy to handle and doesn't tear up hands like the uncoated wire did.
Bought this to put on my grape arbor to keep out birds but let pollinators in. Used regular chicken wire on the top - no coating -- difficult to work with. So happy with this coated chicken wire to put on the sides. Very easy to work with -- seems to keep it from wanting to roll up onto itself as much as non-coated. Hope it also helps it to last a long time in the summer/winter weather.
