Very happy to find the solution to puppy proof our aluminum fence. Other solutions were way more expensive and not as durable. This was pretty easy to install and we believe it will make a lasting safe backyard for our small little furry friends. Very pleased with the product.

I initially ordered 9 - 50' x 3' rolls. Though that delivery took a bit of time due to the large, over-size shipment and weight - they all were delivered on a pallet & were all individually wrapped in cardboard, then individually covered in an additional layer of thick plastic. Then the entire pallet was covered & wrapped in plastic and secured with big straps. When, however - I ordered ONE more, additional - 50' x 3' roll... it arrived really quickly... and that one roll was just as well packaged as the first (minus the pallet). The rolls were intact and undamaged. The wire itself is very nice quality, and being a 16 gage wire, it's strong but surprisingly workable. The plastic coating on the welded wire makes it a bit easier on the hands during installation. We used this wire for the wire walls & roof of a run we built for our chickens... to keep them safe & keep hawks, fox & raccoons out. We even sank 2' into the ground around the run, and knowing the plastic coating was on the welded wire, kinda makes it seem like it'll last longer. I think the black coated, welded wire looks nice, and it's more attractive than the big metal fencing that can get rusty and such. It's also amazingly strong... and though it's only been up a short time, it seems like it will be durable. The 1.5" x 1.5" square openings are still small enough to keep out squirrels. I shopped around for wire fencing, and this seems to be the best deal going for what I needed. Great product.

I like this wire pretty well. It is fairly robust, and is holding up well to the task of keeping rabbits out of the roses. One star taken off because the fencing that I received appears to made of thinner 17 gauge wire, and not the advertised stronger 16 gauge. The diameter of the uncoated wire of the fencing I received is 0.0565 inches rather than 0.063 inches that 16 gauge should be. See attached table from mcnichols dot com. Another similar fencing on Amazon advertised to be 16 gauge was only actually even thinner 18 gauge wire. I would appreciate it if manufacturers/vendors would be more accurate/honest in their description of their products.

Good fencing, but thinner gauge than advertised.

We had installed nice, wrought iron fences for our miniature dachshunds. The wrought iron was a neighborhood requirement. Installed with black zip ties (200’ in four hours). This spacing (mesh) isn’t noticeable until you get close. Served our purpose of keeping pups where they belong. Didn’t like the option of underground electrical fencing. Paid more money, but it looks great!
We bought this to line the inside of our black metal fence to,slow down the rabbits, possums and skunks coming through the yard. Fencing goes nicely into ground and is solid! We used the zip ties to secure it. Very pleased as we haven’t seen any rabbit pellets in weeks! It blends nicely into fencing and is not really noticeable and unlike chicken wire, it does not snag you if you get too close!
This was shipped from the manufacturer. It was simply wrapped in an economy corrugated board (not in a stronger shipper) that probably started to fall apart as it was loaded onto the truck. Upon arrival, both the top and the bottom of the roll had partly separated, with rips. As for the wire itself, i would have preferred the coating to be a bit thicker. Unrolling it, there was bound to be some scratches and the bare metal is already exposed. It was easy to unroll and straighten. But one needs two persons to handle this after it is unrolled flat.
I had nightmares thinking of using this to cover the bottom of the fence surrounding our community tennis court. Much to my surprise it was incredibly easy. Simply put one end against the fence, fasten it, move the roll, fasten and so on. I had a small stool with wheels at the bottom which made the job even easier.
I used this wire for a chicken run. The coop is 6 ft tall, so I have to widths of this to cover the walls. The product is somewhat stiff, but that is because it is thicker and stronger than something like chicken wire - just what I was hoping for. The coating on the wire seems like it will help with longevity and prevent rusting, but it is still too early to know for sure how it will hold up. The black color definitely looks better than the bare wire, so I really like the way it turned out.
