Bought this to cover my newly planted vegetable garden, which I had noticed was being invaded by cabbage whites. Fantastic (I thought). Just the job. Until I noticed three small cabbage white inside. I watched them as they landed on the net and squeezed back out. This is totally useless if you want something to protect your brassicas!

Although this is a pond net, we purchased to cover the grass. This was to stop the birds picking moss and soil and generally making a mess. I am pleaded to say it worked.

This year we had a bumper crop of Strawberrys and thanks to this netting we ate them before the birds got to them. Better than the finer, cheaper nets because it's easier to keep untangled when erecting the protective cage. Still in good condition for protecting lawn seed later in year and next year's fruit.

This fits nicely on to our raised beds of strawberries, with a bit to spare. The plastic items to hold it down are totally useless, in our opinion. Instead we are using metal camping hooks which are much more effective. Netting needs 2 of you to unravel it and put it in place.
