3/8" Rib Lath

The most rigid of all expanded metal lath products

A High-Rib Metal Lath with a herringbone mesh pattern and seven, 3/8" deep, longitudinal, solid steel ribs at intervals of 3-7/8" across the sheet. These ribs provide the superior strength and exceptional rigidity required when framing is more than 16" on center but does not exceed 24" on center.

Description

Commonly used for soffits and ceilings under steel or wood joists construction.

The heavy ribs enable use on ceiling or wall spans at 24" compliant to Table 3 of ASTM C1063. This reinforced lath product is also used on 2” stud-less partitions and as reinforcement for concrete floor and roof slabs.
